About the Centre

The Robert Bateman Centre (RBC) is a Canadian public institution dedicated to making the life and works of Robert Bateman and other artists readily available to the public, including through their website www.BatemanCentre.org. The Centre also sponsors and develops programs that encourage engagement and deeper appreciation of nature, culture about nature and the bond between human society and nature.  The use of the RBC site is to further the goals of the Centre.

Usage

By using the RBC site, you agree to the following terms of use, conditions and restrictions.  If you do not agree without qualifications or limitations, do not access or use this site.

These conditions may be changed at any time and by accessing the site, you are agreeing to the most current version of terms.  Please review periodically for updates and changes.

All material provided by the RBC is subject to Canadian and international copyright law.  This includes all images, documents, text, audio, video, design, icons, illustrations, software and all other content. The content on the website may additionally be covered by proprietary rights held by third parties.  The RBC retains the rights to all content on the site and does not grant permission to reproduce it in any way except for the purposes of fair dealing. Fair Dealing & non-commercial use

Notwithstanding copyright restrictions, individuals may visit the site for browsing, viewing and downloading of limited, non-commercial, educational and personal use.  By accessing, downloading or printing content from the site, visitors agree that they will restrict their use to fair dealing and will not violate any proprietary rights of the Centre or others.  Visitors must cite and acknowledge sources for any content that is utilized.  Digital manipulation, modification of site content, reproduction, display or transmittal of content, including in another website, is expressly forbidden.

The Robert Bateman Centre and the Bateman Foundation and associated websites, trademarks, logos or branding belongs to the RBC.  Others proprietary information belongs to their associated agencies.
